Un appartamento “mini” nel cuore di Parigi
Questo grazioso appartamento di 11 mq nel cuore di Parigi è l’ultimo progetto del Batiik Studio, curato da Rebecca Benichou e la sua collaboratrice Sarah Chayeb.
Inizialmente lo spazio era una semplice camera da letto al settimo piano, con mini doccia e armadio e l’unico pregio di avere uno stupenda veduta sul canale Saint-Martin e sui tetti di Parigi, dalla quale filtra una stupenda luce che inonda tutto lo spazio.
This pretty 11sqm apartment in the heart of Paris is the latest Batiik Studio project, curated by Rebecca Benichou and her collaborator Sarah Chayeb.
Initially the space was a simple bedroom on the seventh floor, with mini shower and wardrobe and the only advantage of having a wonderful view on the Saint-Martin canal and the roofs of Paris, from which it filters a beautiful light that floods all the space .
L’intento del progetto era quello di creare uno spazio per gli affitti stagionali, che avesse il gusto di una camera d’albergo, ma che allo stesso tempo si distaccasse da tutte le altre proposte già viste sul mercato.
Hanno perciò creato una parete attrezzata che da sinistra a destra comprende sia il locale con doccia e lavandino, i mobili da cucina, non grandissimi ma in grado di contenere tutto l’occorrente per cucinare, dalla doppia piastra al mini frigorifero, a sinistra della finestra, è stato creato anche un armadio a scomparsa contenente una lavatrice.In pratica tutto ciò che è necessario a trascorrere un breve soggiorno in una delle più belle città europee.
The purpose of the project was to create a space for seasonal rentals that would have the taste of a hotel room, but at the same time detached from all the other proposals already seen on the market.
They have therefore created an equipped wall, which from left to right includes both the room with shower and sink, the kitchen furniture, not very big but able to contain everything you need to cook, from the double plate to the mini fridge, to the left of the window , a concealed closet with a washing machine was also created. Practically all that is needed to spend a short stay in one of the most beautiful European cities.
La palette dei colori è predominata dal bianco, con intervalli sporadici di colori che oltre a risaltare le forme ad arco, individuano i diversi spazi funzionali; anche il pavimento in legno con finitura simil-mosaico è stato dipinto interamente di bianco.
The color palette is dominated by white, with sporadic intervals of colors that in addition to highlighting the arched shapes, identify the different functional spaces; also the floor with mosaic-like finish was painted entirely white.
